How often do I need to practice aikido?
“At the start of your practice, you should try your best to attend at least 2 classes per week. This will help you to become accustomed to the movements, and work through the soreness you might feel at the beginning. You will also find you learn more quickly if you attend more classes, and things will start to feel more natural. As your training progresses, you may choose to adjust your schedule to keep up with your progress. It is important that you set up a training schedule that works for you, and then stick with it!” (Gillian)
Bushwick Dojo has moved into a new, expanded space! After a winter in the wonderful temporary quarters of Kuntaw Martial Arts of Prospect Lefferts Gardens, we will begin classes at Green Fitness Studio on April 3nd.
Our class times are as follows:
Monday 6:30PM – 7:30PM – Aikido All Belts (This class is cancelled until Labor Day.)
Tuesday 6:30PM – 7:30PM – Aikido All Belts
Wednesday 6:30PM – 7:30PM – Beginners/All Belts
Friday 6:30 PM – 7:30PM – Aikido All Belts
Sunday 12:00PM – 1:00PM – Beginners/All Belts
Sunday 1:00PM – 1:45PM – Aikido Weapons
Memberships including unlimited aikido classes, full access to Green Fitness Studio, changing rooms, 7 showers, sauna , juice bar, and roof deck are $100/month.
